Born on January 3, 2007, Leihaonu Foundation was founded by Shougrakpam Amarjit Singh, a social worker from Samushang Shantipur, with an initial ₹50,000 trust fund. Registered as a public charitable trust (No. 70 at Porompat Sub-Registrar), we set roots in Takyel Khongbal, Imphal West—our home ever since.

From early free medical camps and cultural programs, we’ve grown over 19 years into a trusted partner for Manipur’s communities. We’ve delivered women empowerment training, child scholarships, agriculture initiatives, and disaster relief amid floods and pandemics.

Securing provisional 12A registration in December 2025 (valid to AY 2028-29), we’re now even better equipped to scale impact with donor support
