About Leihaonu Foundation
Leihaonu Foundation is a registered non-governmental organization (NGO) based in Imphal West, Manipur. Established on 3 January 2007, the foundation is committed to social welfare and community development.
Our organization works to empower women, support children’s welfare, promote education and vocational training, encourage agriculture and rural development, and protect the environment. We also focus on cultural promotion, minority support, and addressing important civic issues affecting society.
Leihaonu Foundation believes in equality, empowerment, and sustainable development. Through awareness programs, skill development initiatives, and community support activities, we strive to improve the quality of life for underprivileged and marginalized communities in Manipur.

What We Do

Women & Child Empowerment
We provide skill training, financial literacy workshops, leadership programs, and safe spaces to strengthen women and protect children from vulnerability.

Education & Vocational Training
From running community learning centers and non-residential schools to offering scholarships for OBC/ST/SC students, we focus on quality education access.

Agriculture & Rural Development
We promote rural self-reliance through agriculture training, animal husbandry (poultry, piggery, fishery, beekeeping), plantation drives.

Environmental Protection & Disaster
Social forestry, wasteland reclamation, solid waste management, and climate awareness combat environmental degradation. We organize relief for floods, earthquakes etc.
05.
Health, Culture & Civic Engagement
Free medical camps, de-addiction centers, HIV/AIDS awareness, road safety, and sanitation drives improve public health. We preserve indigenous culture.
